Hace varios años empecé pintando vestidos como un símbolo de lo femenino, cada vestido es una historia, un recuerdo, una emoción; los vestidos son un reflejo de nosotras mismas, de lo que somos y de lo que queremos ser. Con el tiempo el vestido fue mostrándome una nueva manera de descubrirme a mi misma y poder entender historias que estaban sin resolver. El vestido se volvió texturas, retazos, y me conto cuentos del alma; pude observar mas allá del vestido y ver a la mujer que teje estas historias y que con dulzura trata de reconocer en sus miedos y sus carencias la fortaleza de la mujer creadora. Encontré así a la mujer que desde su vulnerabilidad despliega sus alas para recordar que su libertad es solo una cuestión de Fe.

Several years ago, I began painting dresses as a symbol of the feminine; each dress is a story, a memory, an emotion—dresses are a reflection of ourselves, of who we are, and of who we aspire to be. Over time, the dress revealed to me a new way to discover myself and to understand stories that remained unresolved. The dress transformed into textures and scraps of fabric, and it whispered tales of the soul to me; I was able to look beyond the garment and see the woman who weaves these stories—the woman who, with tenderness, seeks to recognize within her fears and her perceived lacks the strength of the creative woman. Thus, I found the woman who, from a place of vulnerability, spreads her wings to remember that her freedom is simply a matter of faith.
